The fiber optic fabric can be folded (with care) parallel to the optical fibers. If you don't know or are unsure about the position of the optical fibers in the fabric, then do not fold it at all.

The Fiber Optic Fabric can be gently hand washed with water up to 70°C and natural soap. The batteries must be always removed prior to washing.

 If possible, do not immerse the battery box, even if the batteries have been removed. The Fiber Optic Fabric must not be washed in washing machine, folded (pressed), machine dried or ironed. The fabric should not be dry cleaned.

 In order to smooth your fiber optic clothe out, simply place it on a clothes hanger after washing out.
